Bootlockå is a locking mechanism for MX boots that helps keep the foot secured inside the boot. Once installed and locked, it prevents the selected boot buckle from opening normally. Combined with our red padlocks, it adds both functional restraint and a strong visual finish.

Bootlockå is intended for consensual kink and gear use only. It is not protective motorcycle equipment and must not be used while riding, in road traffic, or for any real motorbike use.
As a 3D-printed product it is not indestructible and may break under excessive force or high repeated stress.

How to install

  • Product: Bootlockå MX boot buckle lock
  • Compatibility: Leatt 5.5 FlexLock Enduro, Alpinestars Tech 7/10, Fox Racing Comp/Instinct/Motion
  • Material: High-quality 3D printed filament
  • Quantity: One pair (left and right boot) per locked buckle
  • Locking: One red padlock per Bootlockå included
  • Installation: Manual installation required
  • Included tools: Screws and 2.5 mm hex key

Bootlockå sits under one of your boot buckles, with its top part sticking out of the buckle. Close the buckle, push a red padlock through Bootlockå and click it shut: the buckle cannot be opened until the lock comes off.

We number buckles from the top of the boot, as in our manuals. For the strongest hold, lock at least buckle #3 on Leatt 5.5 FlexLock Enduro and Fox Racing Comp/Instinct/Motion, and buckle #2 on Alpinestars Tech 7/10. Add more buckles for a tighter lock.

Bootlockå is 3D printed from high-quality filament. Each part is produced with fit and clean visual integration in mind.

Yes. Each bundle locks the same buckles on the left and right boot: one pair of Bootlockå per buckle.
Yes. Bootlockå always comes with our red padlocks, one per Bootlockå.
We number buckles from the top of the boot. Lock at least buckle #3 on Leatt and Fox boots, and buckle #2 on Alpinestars. That gives the strongest hold.
On Fox and Alpinestars boots, every buckle uses the included screw. On Leatt boots, only buckle #2 needs it.
On Leatt boots, yes. On Fox boots, buckle #4 can wear while you walk. On Alpinestars, buckle #4 exists only on the Tech 7.
